I am sick of the media and the GOP banging on about the Biden administration not being willing to enter into a “bipartisan” deal. Biden has historically been more than willing to work across the isle in cooperation with the GOP, but that was then and this is now and the GOP Biden is faced with is not the GOP of the past. This GOP is the grand-child of the John Birch Society, the dhild of the Teaparty which was supported and funded by the Koch Brothers and their ilk. This GOP isn’t the least bit concerned with the good of the country but instead they are laser focused on eliminating the availability of the vote to a majority of the population, and maintaining the supremacy of the GOP and Corporate welfare.

Democracy is in a precarious position at present what with the rise of White Supremacy and fascism. Government by Corporate power isn’t natural to the philosophy of America and it’s history.
